Would you like to get out of the city and truly experience the desert and its natural settings? The Surf and Turf is our Premier tour. The day starts with a mountain bike rides and ends with an unforgettable kayak on Lake Mead.

From the moment you are picked up from Las Vegas you will start to see the neon fade and the wide open desert expand. You will soon be deeply embedded within this seemingly endless backdrop of mountainous canyons and vast valleys. Once on the bicycle you will get to experience a real part of the Wild West. The trail is newly paved but is the original path of the railroad that was used to build the Hoover Dam. This Historic Railroad Trail gently descends through creosote fields and along natural flood plains. Not too far into the ride there is a quick stop to see some Great Basin Big Horn Sheep that graze and drink in a grassy park.

Lake Mead now fills the panoramic view from the trail with crisp blue water and high jagged peaks of red sandstone and multi-layered limestone. While you cruise along enjoying the wind blowing through your hair you are getting closer to the next part of your adventure on Lake Mead. Swap your bike in for a kayak and give your legs a rest. On the water you will find yourself gently floating along the Boulder Islands where you will eventually stop for lunch and have time to explore caves and sand beaches. A quick paddle back to shore and unfortunately we have to bring you back to Las Vegas. This tour is the best (and only) value found in Las Vegas for biking and kayaking.
