Best Gifts for Mountain Bikers
If you’re looking to find the mountain biker in your life something special, we’ve got you covered. We know that finding something for a mountain biker can be tricky, but it can be a simple decision with a little guidance.
Tire maintenance for the win
Don’t bother with trying to get something size specific or some type of high-end technical part. Pick something universal and useful. Most mountain bikers have their bike set up tubeless. This means there’s sealant in the tire instead of a tube. Tubeless sealant lasts about 60 to 90 days here in the desert. This means your mountain biker is always going to need a bottle or two of sealant to maintain fun on the trail. Furthermore, they will most likely need a tubeless plug kit or a refill on their plugs to be able to fix any on-trail flats. We would even encourage putting together a little care package of sealant, tire plugs, and CO2 (to inflate a flat tire) for an awesome gift to any mountain bike shredder.
Gift certificate
You can always choose the easy way to gift your riding friend. Gift cards are a great way to show you care. It’s always nice to say “get what you need, it’s on me”.
Bike Service and Maintenance
A super valuable gift would be a mountain bike tuneup or suspension service. Most riders know they will need a tuneup at least once or twice a year but not as many riders know how often to service their suspension. Your gift will force their hand to stay on top of bike maintenance and save them time and money in the long run. So responsible of you. There’s a few different service packages that cater to every rider’s needs as well as personalized custom suspension tunes to really dial that dirt ripper of yours.
Don’t make it hard on yourself. We’ve got you covered in the ol’ gift department.
